Greek Island Hotels for Families of 5 or More (No Second Room Needed)
Most hotel rooms in Greece top out at four guests. For a family of five that usually means two rooms, double the cost and kids on another corridor. The hotels below list a suite or family room that sleeps five or more in a single unit, according to the hotel's own site or a listing we checked. We name the source for every figure.
Always confirm the exact bed set up and whether children count toward the maximum before you book. Hotels count guests differently.
How we chose
We only included a hotel if a hotel page or a listing showed one room or suite with a stated capacity of 5 or more. We did not include prices. Ratings are shown with their source and the date we saw them (2 November 2026), and they will change.
Crete: Anemos Luxury Grand Resort, Georgioupoli (western Crete)
Room: 2 Bedrooms Family De Lux Private Pool (5 persons).
Stated maximum: up to 5 guests, of which maximum 3 adults (hotel booking engine page).
Why it suits a bigger family: two bedrooms and a private pool, in a resort across the road from a sandy beach. The 3 adult limit means it suits two parents with three children, or similar, rather than five adults.

Mykonos: Semeli Coast, Merchia Beach
Room: Two Bedroom Suite with Pool and Spa.
Stated maximum: up to 6 guests (hotel's own page). Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, 2 sofa beds, private infinity pool.
Why it suits a bigger family: space for everyone in one private villa style suite, with a private pool, which makes a pricey island easier to plan around.

Skiathos: Elivi Skiathos, Koukounaries
Room: Premium Suite, 2 Bedrooms (Nest Villas and Suites), and Double Grace Suite Seafront.
Stated maximum: both listed as sleeps 6 (trivago room list, not the hotel's own site).
Why it suits a bigger family: two double beds plus two twin sofa beds, and a resort with direct access to beaches. trivago's summary describes the 213 acre grounds as hilly, so plan for the on-site buggies or a car.

Santorini: Amphitrite Suites, Vothonas
Room: Family Suite, 2 Bedrooms, with built-in hot tub.
Stated maximum: sleeps 6, 76 sq m, 1 king bed, 1 queen bed and 2 single sofa beds (Hotels.com listing snippet).

Not yet covered
We could not confirm a room for five or more in one unit on Kos or Zakynthos. Zante Calinica Hotel and Suites (Tsilivi) lists two bedroom family apartments, but we found no stated maximum occupancy, so it is not included. If you are travelling there, search for 2 bedroom suites and enter all your guests in one room.
Before you book
Enter every guest, with the children's ages, in one room on the booking page. If it is not offered, it is not a room for five.
Check bed types. Sofa beds suit children better than adults.
Ask whether cots or extra beds are included in the maximum.
